simple but cute nail designs, these can be printed over a variety of other nail shapes (I like the ones below!)
The final step of the nail sculpting session is to build nail heads and nails. I've done this step with some quick DIY nail cutting, but these are all my favorite nails!
Once I get going, I'm going to start with a single-step approach and then work on a more complicated approach. If you use an acrylic to build nail head, use an acrylic to create a new one. The same is true for the single-step approach. Once you have a few different designs in mind I would recommend choosing one that gives a great feeling about the nail itself. The two biggest reasons to use an acrylic over an acrylic paint are two. First, the paint does not melt well on your nail! (In fact, I used these nails on a very wet nail for over 3 hours – this wasn't even a problem, only a tiny crackling at the bottom after I moved the nail off the canvas.) Second, I find painting with an acrylic to be very easy to nail and is really easy to apply because there is no "wet" setting when painting your own nail. These three factors are really the reason I love these new nail designs.
The first major benefit is my ability to see what your nails will look like in comparison to other nail designs. So I made a photo of one from my day of using an acrylic
