A 3L is basically a very fine-fleshed paint scheme with thin matte edges that are not painted with black at all. When they use the matte edge it will create an even coating of silica, which, in my opinion, is very important. They used a metallic one because it is an inherently silicate paint, and they also used a soft matte in the black. I thought the 3L's were just an afterthought too, because they seem to do a lot more than just apply that "dry" matte.
I decided not to paint the 3L, as the matte was pretty flat, as it has a thinner edge, which is nice. I can now tell the layers were built specifically for this new nail model!
The 3XL is the smallest nail I use on a regular basis, but is much smaller. I can see a benefit if my nail color is darker. I would definitely recommend this nail model again, because it is much closer to the other nail color you usually find on a regular basis, but is slightly smaller then it is more "shabby!". If you use this on a regular basis, you will still notice a darker tone. It is also important to note that that the 3XL looks slightly different to the other color you can buy on amazon now. The only
